Are you looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, thorough scopist to help you expand your court reporting business, catch up with your backlog, or improve your work-life balance?
Look no further! The scopist is in!
I am a Case CATalyst scopist currently accepting new clients. I have scoped transcripts from all types of depositions, civil trials, criminal trials, patent trials, hearings, et cetera. I am experienced with RealTeam, Dropbox, and SendThisFile, as well as with sending and receiving transcripts via email. I prefer to scope to full audio, and I research all names, terms, et cetera. I am available for dailies, expedites, and regular delivery.
I use Lillian Morson's English Guide for Court Reporters as my primary source and Margie Wakeman Wells's Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation as my secondary source. I also use The Chicago Manual of Style and The Gregg Reference Manual. Of course, your preferences take priority.
Bottom line, I love to scope!
I have great respect for the court reporting profession. I take my work very seriously, and I believe communication is crucial. My current reporters tell me, "You're the best! It's so obvious the pride you take in what you do!" and, "It's so hard to find a good scopist, and you're the best I've worked with. I've tried many." References are available on request.
I live in northeastern Pennsylvania but, thanks to the Internet, we can work together no matter where you are located. Please feel free to email me directly at Dianne@thescopistisin.com or use the contact tab to send me an email through the website. We can discuss your needs and how I can help you grow your business, keep up with or catch up with your workload, and make your life easier. Following our initial contact, we will discuss your editing and formatting preferences.
I look forward to working with you to produce the best possible result: a top-quality transcript the way you want it and when you want it.
Thanks for visiting! Hope to hear from you soon.
